Counselors
- Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to:
- Building a relationship of trust and respect with clients.
- Agreeing a 'Counseling Contract' to establish what will be covered in counseling sessions.
- Encouraging clients to talk about the feelings that have made them seek counselling.
- Listening carefully, asking questions and clarifying your understanding of the client's situation
- Empathising with the client's issues, but challenging them when necessary.
- Helping clients to see things more clearly or from different perspectives.
- Keeping confidential records.
- Qualifications:
- Certified Behavioral/Clinical Psychologist.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening.
- The ability to challenge clients in a positive way.
- Self-awareness and the ability to examine your own thoughts and values.
- Patience, tolerance, and sensitivity.
- A good sense of personal integrity and ethics.
- Respect for confidentiality.

Python Programmer
- Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to:
- Architect, and develop web application that scale and extend elegantly.
- Working closely with Technology and Operation Heads to map out web applications for our HR Analytics platform.
- Design, architect, implement new features and user experiences.
- Brainstorming ideas with the team and give and take constructive feedback.
- Contributes to the team by participating in code reviews, collaborating on new concepts and technologies, mentoring junior members, and remaining open to ideas and suggestions from peers.
- Qualifications:
- Python, Python, Python!
- Expert Python coders with a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Proficiency in working in an Unix/Linux environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding, good communication skills, and most of all enthusiasm for tackling the complex problems of scale which are uniquely AceNgage.
- We are looking for smart, pragmatic programmer that has built and shipped web applications, whether personal or professional.
- We are looking for Python programmers who aren't designers, but knows how to make an application look (and feel) good.

User Interface Programmer
- Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to:
- Design and implement features and prototypes based on user requirements, usability studies, and business needs as well as make recommendations for new features and upgrades to the existing prototype.
- Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of experience.
- A strong working knowledge developing cross-browser (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc.) dynamic web applications.
- Extensive experience in JavaScript, development and optimization of SQL queries across databases (preferably MySQL), HTML/XHTML/CSS programming, and DOM API.
- Experience in XML, Perl, CGI.
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting/debugging and performance tuning applications.
- Experience in deploying and customizing complex systems in Unix/Linux, Windows, & Mac OS environments, including IIS, Apache, and application servers.
- Understanding of current technologies and best practices that comprise a web project development cycle.
- Knowledge of Flash is a strong plus.

Technical Writer
- Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to:
- Writing user manuals and online help for application software developed on various platforms.
- Write, edit, and revise documentation for product development, support services, and customer/end-user activities.
- Retrieve, organize, and analyze intermediate subject matter and transform it into easy-to-understand information for specific audiences.
- Employ various authoring and desktop publishing software tools to produce finished products that include printed or electronic publications and integrated online help systems.
- Designing and conducting training in technical communication for IT professionals.
- Qualifications:
- You have to write about a product or a process, so it is important to have basic knowledge in programming, Software Development Life Cycle, and broad knowledge of IT products, solutions, and jargons used.
- An interesting note is that Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company requires that their technical writers are able to disassemble and assemble one of their motorcycles. You have to be a special person to write for them. While you don't need to be able to disassemble & assemble a bike at AceNgage, we do look out for that "special" quality in a Technical Writer -
you must be passionate about software and must be able to learn about new technologies quickly and should be able to translate the acquired knowledge into technical publications and web site content.
- You should be someone who enjoys the writing process. You should be a wordsmith and a good editor, but your writing should be more technical than artistic.
- Strong hands-on experience of working on documentation tools like Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and others.
- Experience of working on technical solution write-ups & proposals.
- You will interact with SMEs. You have to be part investigative reporter, part journalist. You can't be shy about going after certain people to extract information. And you can't be too proud to ask the dumb technical questions that make engineers do double-takes.
