About AceNgage

The Name

AceNgage has been coined by using the words Ace & Engage. AceNgage stands for being the best in Employee Engagement. Ace by Gauging indicates "being the best by measuring".

The Company

We are an HR intelligence company specializing in decision support services for employee engagement & retention. Established in June 2007, we currently work with several leading IT, ITES, Banks and Retail Companies in various areas of Employee Engagement.


Our Belief

While market dynamics have changed significantly, the craft of managing people has not. The need for managers to spend time with their team members listening, caring, engaging, coaching and providing feedback assumes much higher significance in the context of rapid expansion of business and scaling up of human resources.

The Team

The AceNgage team is comprised of three ordinary individuals who have determined to "make today better than yesterday for all especially for people who manage other people" using very simple real world problem solving techniques. All come from rich experience of scaling to large scale operations in a short period of time and fully understand growing pains. Following are the three core members that make the Management Team:

  • ASHANA K
  • Ashana is a graduate and MBA HR from Bangalore University with over 16 years of work experience. She is an accomplished senior customer operation professional with extensive experience in telecom, BPO and outsourcing industry. She has managed very large teams in multi geography, multiple business environments. She has worked in an advisory capacity to strengthen the assessment and appraisal process for several companies. She is a visiting faculty at MS Ramaiah, teaching MBA students. At AceNgage she heads Operations, HR, and MIS.


  • GOPALAKRISHNA HANUMANTHU
  • "Krish" Hanumanthu is a senior professional with extensive experience in hospitality, BPO and outsourcing industry. With over 17 years work experience in customer facing functions, he also is an accomplished sales training professional and has managed very large sales teams. He has handled several transitions of scale in the BPO industry and understands the process gaps in recruitment, training and employee engagement for sales roles. In addition to business development responsibilities, he has been advising clients on a variety of subjects ranging from recruitment vendor management, induction quality, training effectiveness and has helped evolve processes to strengthen these areas. At AceNgage he heads Business Development and Account Management.


  • VIVEK SHANGARI
  • Vivek is from the Unix world - a student of the Unix culture and a zealous practitioner of the Unix design philosophy. He plays with a few programming languages, including C/C++, but his forte is Python and Lisp. He is one of the handful of teaching professionals (in India) on Lisp, a very advanced functional programming and application development platform. He has a very keen interest in development of software products and evolving offerings in the "Software As a Service" space. Interface design is his other area of interest and his designs always follow the rule of separation: separate policy from mechanism; separate interfaces from engines. At AceNgage he heads Technology and Product Development.
